Legislation

Currently, in Canada, there are 4 Provinces and 1 Territory with healthcare consent specific legislation.  In 2010, Nova Scotia replaced their consent legislation with an act that addresses ‘advanced directives’. Most Provinces and Territories without consent legislation have similar legislation to address advanced directives.
